- We are preparing for the presentation named "Interactive Projection on Objects: Book and Castle Ruin Model Cases in a Museum" in IEEE AIxVR2024. We are co-organizer of XRiM workshop.

- We participated in the International Conference called ACM ADIP2024 and made a presentation on 3D version of character mosaics.
- Dec-12-2023
- We hosted a 5-week lecture series of "Women Resource for Digital Technology" sponsored by Hitachi City. Began with Scratch programming on the first day, we had an excursion on an IT company office, Python coding exercises including maze generation, chart drawing and sorting.
Thank you very much for your participation.
We had so many applications for this lecture series, 3 times more than the capacity.

- Thank you very much for coming to our Open Lab Event at Hitachi Campus Festa.
Our lab is selected as one of stamp-collection points in the festa, which made us extremely busy.
We had approximately 200 visitors for the last 3 hours, so maybe 400 to 500 in total ...

- This weekend we are having our campus festival called "Kougaku-sai"). Our laboratory members are busy preparing our exhibits for it. We've reserved (a very large room called HALS), which is much larger than the impression from this photo. Hope you enjoy it!

- On Oct 21st and 22nd, we will have small exhibit event in the Tokai Village Museum, focusing on projection on objects (sand box, book, and model of castle ruins). No entrance fee needed. Meet there!

- We had our fall open laboratory event at the science museum on Sep 23rd and 24th.
For the first time in our 5th event at the museum, we used the 8th floor, which is much crowded area than 9th. Thanks for your visit!

- We made a 3D measurement on an excavation site in the neighboring village, where they found clay figures in the 6th century. The actual model has 3 million points at 5 mm resolution (this GIF animation is very coarse).

- We just had 4 days of lectures on Scratch programming for developing digital skills of women at Papport Hitachi(Women's Center in Hitachi City). Thanks for paricipation.

- We held the third open lab event in this school year at Science Museum on Jan 8th and 9th. Thanks to hundreds of visitors. We exhibited a newly developed "drawing trucks", which is a joint display of the train exhibition on the basement floor.
