Virtual environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will be using GatherTown<\/strong><\/mark> as sole environment for the event. People who registered will get an email with a password to log in before the event along with some other information, such as the layout of the rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will be presenting your work in an oral presentation<\/strong>. Presentation time will be 15 minutes<\/mark><\/strong> including questions and switching speakers. Thus, plan about 10<\/mark><\/strong> minutes for your talks and 5<\/mark><\/strong> minutes for questions and handover. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GatherTown runs in a web browser, so you will need a computer with good internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone for your presentation. In general, presentations are live, but if you prefer, you can also pre-record a video. Presentations in GatherTown are done via screen sharing. See here for related info from GatherTown<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
