Information for Presenters

Virtual environment

We will be using GatherTown as sole environment for the event. People who registered will get an email with a password to log in before the event along with some other information, such as the layout of the rooms.

Presenters

You will be presenting your work in an oral presentation. Presentation time will be 15 minutes including questions and switching speakers. Thus, plan about 10 minutes for your talks and 5 minutes for questions and handover.

GatherTown runs in a web browser, so you will need a computer with good internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone for your presentation. In general, presentations are live, but if you prefer, you can also pre-record a video. Presentations in GatherTown are done via screen sharing. See here for related info from GatherTown.

Contact

If you have any question about the technical setup with GatherTown, please contact Rongkai Shi from the virtual setup team. Other questions on the XRiM workshop, contact Nobuyuki Umezu, one of the co-orgenizers.
